Anonymous said...: Queenie and Krewe called me this Sunday am about 11 NO time and 9 WAsh time. They were outside BatonRouge, heading west to Houston where Frank's brother Chuck and family live. Franks dad Martie and sister Crissy were following close behind. They passed golf courses with golfers -- unworried-- and also passed water slides with lifeguards but no sliders! They were tempted to stop and slide and have the place to themselves. Veronica/Ronnie will call when they are in Houston. At 5:30 PM our time and 7:30 New O time, the Krewe was nearing Lk. Charles, LA and also nearing Texas. All was well; they were talking with Chrissy and Martie in the car behind them and were all together. Hopefully, Katrina will miss Texas entirely.
