- We tend to choose fun, messy, noisy, tasty, colorful, and/or not-rated-G stuff: books, movies, music, video games, art, art supplies, Japanese arms and armor, sugar-laden food, facepaint, hair dye, and so on. We share.
- We tend to have long, involved, winding conversations. We have strong opinions and no subject is off limits.
- We have not signed up to be the enforcers of your rules. We will support your kids in their efforts to honor your rules, but that's about it.
- What happens at our house stays at our house, except...
- Our interactions with your kids are subject to blogging. But we won't name names or post photos if you don't want us to.
- Some of us are budding rockstars, and we practice.
- We're not fussy about your noise (fair is fair, after all), but if the music you're blaring is either country or western ("Oh, we got both kinds"), we'll need to have a conversation about compromise.
- Whatever you see our kids doing, they are probably doing it with our knowledge and usually with our active participation or at least cooperation. Even _____? Yes, that too.
8a. We don't always agree with our kids (and vice versa), but you won't see us punishing our kids for their choices. - Our kids unschool. It's a fun life. Your kids might be envious. Defending schooling is going to be up to you 'cause we can't do it anymore.
- Our yard... Yeah, we're sorry. We might do better someday.

Oh, this is good, so good, especially #2! Well, pretty much all of it, but I really might have to "borrow" #2. Love it!
This is great, I love the original also. Right now the house next door is for rent and I am hoping so hard to get cool people so we won't have to explain ourselves....
This is great! How come I never saw it?!!!!!!
