The Outer Banks of North Carolina. Visit Nag's Head (where pirates tied a lantern around a nag's head as a false lighthouse to lure ships to their doom), Needles dune where a pillaged cargo was abandoned and still found by the naked foot, Kitty Hawk where the Wright brothers took flight (such an amazingly short flight), the black and white barber pole lighthouse, Okracoke where the remains of the lost settlement rest. An amazing place.
Sounds great! Beaches I want to visit might be a future 13. :-)
Sigh... Is that a Lagoon 380 in the Benures Bay shots?
I want that to be us again on a boat like that!
I never thought I'd see Lowestoft on a list of beaches! Great list!
Youve got to add Byron Bay Australia. Its one of the most famous and popular beaches here... and besides when you work your way through your list in the coming years and do byron, you can visit us :)
Be careful what you wish for, Arun! Bwah-ha-ha! :-)
Googling Byron Bay sez that the Winter water temp is 17C. Brrrrrr... Too cold for me. If we vist, it'll hafta be in the Summer. Even then, the temp is only 25C, still on the chilly side for my taste. Heck! That's the WINTER water temp in the Caribbean. That's what I did NOT like about Kauai; it was pretty but the water was chilly. My heart belongs to the Caribbean.
