A little announcement
I feel a little odd about this, but I also felt a little odd not saying anything, so here goes...
I have been invited to be one of the speakers at the Live and Learn Conference in Asheville next fall. I am very excited about this and very nervous. I hope my own personal unschooling support group will be there to "seed" my audience with friendly faces. :-)
Kelly says the 2008 Web site will be live soon with all the details.

Right on, Ronnie! You'll be forever famous for your speech! :)
You are going to be an awesome speaker! This year L&L. Next year LIFE is Good?
David bought our plane tickets for Life is Good today. There was, however, a quick discussion a couple of days ago when Kelly announced that this years L&L was the last L&L about whether or not we wanted to do that. The fact that you are speaking there was part of the equation. I decided that as good as it was I wanted to go to the NW this time.
Oh! How cool! I was just writing a blog post about something you wrote, Ronnie! We have never been to a conference at all, but I think that we are going to make it to Ashville this year. Fantastic! See you there. :)
Thanks for the help, guys! :-)
Mary - Wow! Thanks! We'll talk (unless tomatoes are thrown in Asheville)!
Schuyler, I am SO glad we don't have to wait those extra months to see you guys! WAHOO!
I think Kelly is pretty dang clever! Go Ronnie Go! Now when do we get that coy fellow Frank up on the stage?
I promise. No tomatoes.
Frank gets up on stage ONLY for reunions of the BHD, hidden safely behind his huge organ. (snicker)
Otherwise, Frank is as shy as good taste. He's as uncomfortable in public as common sense. He... ahhhh, you get the idea.
